People ask me “why are you so passionate about your products?” It’s simple really. It not only stems from our core belief that centuries-old botanicals can have a profound impact in improving our lives, and those of our pets, but it also stems from direct personal experience with our products. You see, we’ve crafted our products not just to meet the needs of our customers, but for ours as well.

Personal experience with our products has been exceptional, perhaps none more so than our experience with our beloved Doberman Pinscher, Maggie. From the moment I first met Maggie, it was evident she was special. Not only was she a beautiful dog, but she was extraordinarily smart, loyal and loving. She was placed for adoption by her previous owners when they determined she carried the recessive gene for white Dobermans, a trait unpopular with breeders. And if she couldn’t be bred, the previous owner wanted nothing to do with her,

For nearly 10 years, Maggie was the joy in our lives. She was always the “pack leader” and dog park favorite. Then in spring of 2016, Maggie started limping. We immediately took her to our vet, who diagnosed her with osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer. The prognosis was poor. It was unlikely she would survive more than a few weeks.

We immediately started Maggie on our CBD capsules. Her limp improved, and she appeared pain-free. The tumor, which should have grown very rapidly, didn’t. For 6 wonderful months, we got to share all the fun and joy we could muster with Maggie. Our vet was simply amazed! She had never in all her experience seen a dog with this type of cancer survive that well or that long.

Unfortunately, by the 7th month, things took a turn for the worse. The tumor in her leg began to increase dramatically in size. This time the prognosis was hours to days. But Maggie survived nearly another month before she finally passed away one evening in November.

Not a day goes by that we don’t miss Maggie, but I am ever grateful for the fact that we had 7 long months to say our goodbyes. And I’m so grateful for the chance to share her story with all of you. And while we’re not claiming our CBD capsules will yield the same results for you or furry family members, every day we hear from many of you with similar stories.

Finally, if you ever look at the packaging on our k9capsules or k9comfort tinctures, you’ll see a profile of Maggie. I can’t think of a better endorsement.

with all our best,

Tom
