The Trouble with Tribbles…

Or how so many CBD companies cause consumer confusion.

I almost hate to write this, as it gives away my age, but one of my favorite shows when I was growing up was Star Trek (The ORIGINAL version). As a young boy, I remember being captivated by the idea of interstellar travel as well as the Star Trek cast and crew. One particular episode I remember was The Trouble with Tribbles where The Enterprise is literally overrun by these cute, cuddly, furry creatures called Tribbles that just seem to reproduce and multiply at an alarming rate.

It reminds me somewhat of the CBD industry as of late. There has been a huge number of companies, people and players who have entered our space recently. Nothing inherently wrong with that, but the volume of growth seems at times like an invasion of “tribbles”!
