I was having dinner with some friends last week and one of them, who is a huge fan of our products, said she was talking to a friend of hers whose older dog was having mobility issues. She had told him to try our k9comfort tincture, to which he responded, “What? Are you suggesting that I give my dog pot?” She of course explained the difference to him, but it got me thinking that some folks may still be confused.
To be absolutely clear, giving your dog marijuana is a HORRIBLE idea, and can be harmful or even fatal!! Most veterinarians can recount several instances where they’ve had to treat family dogs that somehow got into the “hidden stash”.
Even cursory searches of the internet, however, will yield countless indications that cannabinoids, the active ingredients in hemp-type plants may have significant benefits for our pet friends. But the same cursory searches will also quickly warn about using any product that contains THC, the cannabinoid responsible for the “high” humans experience when ingesting or smoking. Hemp versions contain little or no THC.
At Imbue Botanicals, our proprietary pet products are processed SOLELY from organically grown Colorado hemp, and contain no THC. In addition, our unique, low-pressure, low-temperature processing of the whole plant ensures that our product is fully-laced with all the most beneficial cannabinoids and other compounds, including natural terpenes…and none of the harmful ones. It’s what we call Full Spectrum, and it’s designed to provide outstanding results for our canine companions.
Our products are processed in cleanroom environments by trained, expert personnel, and independently tested prior to shipping to ensure safety and consistency. In short, we process our products as if our own beloved dogs are using them. Which in fact, they do…every day!
So, no. Your dog won’t don Rastafarian headwear and sunglasses if you give them our CBD products. But, like so many of our customers, ourselves included, you might just see a big improvement in their overall health, and maybe just a little more pep in their step!
with all our best,
