Earth Day has always meant something personal to me. It’s not just a date on the calendar or a marketing moment, but rather it’s a reminder of why we started Imbue Botanicals in the first place. As we head into Earth Day 2026, I find myself reflecting on how much this mission still shapes everything we do.
When we founded Imbue, we didn’t want to build just another CBD brand. We wanted to create something that truly respected the connection between people and the planet. That’s where our “Earth First” philosophy came from. For me, it’s always been simple: if we’re creating products meant to support well-being, they should also support the health of the environment they come from.
One of the biggest ways we manifest that is through how we grow and source our hemp. We work with organically grown hemp, and that matters more than ever today. It means no harmful pesticides, healthier soil, and a cleaner end-product. But beyond that, it’s about accountability. We’ve always believed that if you’re going to put something into the world, you should know exactly where it came from and how it was produced.
Hemp itself is an incredible plant, and I don’t think it gets enough credit. It’s naturally more sustainable than many other crops, requiring less water and offering benefits to the soil. But just growing hemp isn’t enough, but rather it’s how you grow it that makes the difference.
Earth Day also reminds us that sustainability doesn’t stop at farming. It carries through every step of what we do. When we formulate our products, we stick to organic, non-GMO, and vegan ingredients. We take the extra time to use methods that preserve the integrity of the plant instead of cutting corners for convenience. That approach may not always be the fastest or cheapest, but it aligns with what we believe is the right way to do things.
Packaging has been another important piece of the puzzle. That’s why we’ve committed to using recyclable materials wherever possible. It’s a small decision on the surface, but when you multiply it across every product, every order, it adds up.
At the same time, we’ve always felt that taking care of the Earth also means taking care of the people and animals we share it with. That’s why giving back has been part of Imbue from the beginning. We support animal rescue efforts and try to make our products accessible through assistance programs for veterans, individuals with disabilities, and those who need a little extra support. For us, sustainability isn’t just environmental—it’s about building a more compassionate and balanced world overall.
As we look at Earth Day 2026, we see a shift happening. People are asking more questions, expecting more from the brands they support, and paying closer attention to how products are made…and that’s a good thing. It pushes all of us to do better, and it reinforces the idea that sustainability isn’t optional. It’s essential
Imbue has always been about more than products. It’s about creating something that aligns with my values and contributes, in its own way, to a healthier planet. Earth Day is just one day, but the mindset behind it is something we try to carry into every decision we make.
And honestly, that’s what I hope people take away…not just from Imbue, but from Earth Day itself. Small, intentional choices matter. When we commit to them consistently, they can lead to real, lasting impact.
Happy Earth Day Everyone!
