And perhaps, more effective than some products offered by large pharmaceutical companies.  If you’ve ever read the ingredients of our lotions and salves, you’ve undoubtedly noticed that our cold-processed, ethanol-extracted plant-based oil isn’t the only “active” ingredient. We’ve included 3 additional, carefully chosen, powerful botanicals as well to boost the overall effect. These were not a random choice, but rather based on centuries-old applications as well as personal experience with these powerful plant-based oils. Here is what these botanicals may provide:

• The arnica plant is a perennial herb in the sunflower family that has been used for centuries to treat inflammation and pain. Arnica’s anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antibacterial and antiseptic properties make it well suited for use in topical skincare applications. It may not only help soothe and reduce inflammation, but its ability to seemingly boost immunity is believed to help decrease healing time in bruises, aches and pains. We meticulously create our own infusion of arnica, purchasing raw flowers and not off-the-shelf additives.
  
• Essential oil of mint can be a true skin saver. Mint oil naturally cleanses the skin and has antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It has a cooling effect which can soothe irritation and reduce inflammation.
• Rosemary has been used medically for centuries as an antiseptic, an aid in digestive and respiratory health, and in skincare. Rosemary essential oil possesses anti-inflammatory and anti-analgesic properties that may help alleviate pain, and rosemary oil further stimulates blood circulation, which can further fasten the healing process.
